Alex Lee is a professional dog trainer, educator, and behavior consultant based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is the Founder of the Academy for Human and Animal (AHA) and has over 18 years of experience in dog training and behavior.

Alex's journey into the field began through his passion for working sheepdogs. While exploring the world of stockdogs and sheepdog handling, he became deeply interested in learning theory, animal behavior, and humane training methods, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in animal training and behavior.

Alex is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP), Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), and Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP). He also serves as the Korea Country Manager and Education Coordinator for Karen Pryor Academy, where he has developed and taught professional education programs for dog trainers in Korea.

In addition to teaching, Alex is currently collaborating with a technology company to help design an AI-powered behavior assessment and decision-support platform for animal behavior professionals. His work focuses on integrating behavior science, animal welfare, and technology to support more objective, evidence-based decision-making.

Alex is also an international judge for Skyhoundz, one of the world's leading canine disc dog organizations. Before he moved to Atlanta he worked as a trainer at the Baltimore Humane Society. And he currently volunteers with the Atlanta Humane Society, continuing his commitment to animal welfare and shelter dogs.

Alex is passionate about promoting humane, constructional, and science-based approaches to animal training and welfare while helping bridge knowledge and collaboration between professionals around the world.
